19 years old Sher Bahadur Malla, son of Punya Malla is living in Soru Gaon Palika-6. He grew up in the extended family his Father, Mother, Brother and brother's wife, four Sisters, his Cousins and also his own wife. However, he could complete his study at high School. Since his family was extended, his father worked hard to feed them rest of the six months as the production from the land was sufficient only for 6 months. Sometimes his father used to go to India and sometimes he worked as daily wage labor to manage daily living for the whole family. Mr. Sher Bahadur he, himself had joined with his father to do labor work. With the financial support of INF/N Mugu, Sher Bahadur, as SHG recommended, got an opportunity to be participated in the vocational training (House Wiring) for income generation organized by Nepal Naamja Bikash Kendra, Mugu a local partner Organization of INF/N Mugu for the fiscal year 2016/17. He was involved in the practical training from the date 15/10/2073 to 15/01/2074 total 90 days (Three Months). After the 90 days house wiring training, he had confidence to do all types of related work in the villages. NNDC Mugu also provided all the five participants the necessary equipment to each to start immediately working in house wiring with the skill they had in the training. He came back to Gamgadi Mugu with new idea to start a new business with the money he had saved Rs 100,000 (One Lakh) by doing labor work. From 2074 Jestha 15, he started his own electric shop named "Jagatmala Electronic Centre" after registering the shop in Udyog Banijya Sangh, Gamgadi, Mugu. In the beginning his daily earning was about Rs 600 – Rs 3000 and his was able to earn Rs 54,000 by monthly selling electric items/goods. From that of selling amount, his net profit is about Rs 20,000. In his own words, "house wiring work was more beneficial than selling electronic items". He himself goes for house wiring and he also uses the house wiring materials from his own shop. He is now most active and famous by his new occupation and new shop established recently. Mr. Sher Bahadur Malla was not satisfied just with the new business he started, but he came up with new and creative ideas. With those creative ideas, he was able to add new skill of mobile repairing and mobile sale business after taking training in Kathamandu by his own investment. So, he is so thankful to NNDC for showing him the road map to walk along in his whole life. Even though he was busy in his daily work at the shop and going out for House Wiring, he was asked that how he manages the shop and house wiring. He replied that he has got support from his wife. He has confidence to make profit enough for their living. After acquiring new skill on mobile repairing and mobile sale, he earns Rs. 35, 000 per month these days. As Mr. Sher Bahadur shared his own experience that He was an ordinary man but now a days he has become a good example to his fellow friends who are wondering/hanging around without jobs. Moreover, he added that sometimes people come to him requesting him to train other youths in the village which makes him feel proud and responsible for others. He seems ready to transfer his skills to others but it has not happened yet. He is so happy because he is living with his own family and he has not gone to Arabian countries for earning as he is earning in Gamgadi Mugu.
